Fire at Grand Mumtaz

Srinagar, Feb 9:  Fire broke out at a leading hotel –Grand Mumtaz –in the City Wednesday.
 Some rooms in the upper storey on the Health Club side were damaged. But the fire spread was prevented by the timely action of firefighters.
 Prominent businessman and the hotel owner Mushtaq Chaya said the fire was doused by the timely action of the hotel staff and the firefighters.
 “It was Allah’s mercy that there was no big loss,” Chaya told Greater Kashmir.
