JK Bank commissions 339th ATM at Kulgam

Srinagar, Feb 9: J&K Bank threw open its 339th ATM at District Hospital Kulgam in South Kashmir today. Minister for Social Welfare Ms Sakina Itoo inaugurated the ATM in presence of JK Bank President Parvez Ahmad, Zonal Head M Afzal Khan amid a good gathering of valuable customers, local traders, senior citizens and government officials.
“I extend my gratitude to the Bank for installation of this machine that shall go a long way in making the banking services more convenient to the common people of the area especially in case of certain emergencies,” the minister said at the interactive meet between Bank’s customers and its officials held at Dak Bungalow soon after the inauguration of ATM.
Speaking on the occasion, JK Bank President Parvez Ahmad gave a substantiated account of the Bank’s role in shaping the financial and developmental landscape of the state.
Customer comfort besides providing world-class banking services, he said, remain at the core of Bank’s policy of productisation and extension of banking and financial services.
Responding to the suggestions made by few customers during the meet, Parvez Ahmad advised the Zonal Head to constitute Customer Grievance Committees that shall work to improve customer services to their satisfaction.
