Div Com comes to Gulshan Nagar rescue

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Feb 10: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon convened a meeting of officers to discuss the issue of water logging at Gulshan Nagar, Byepass,  an official handout said.
He directed the ERA to procure a high capacity dewatering pump and install it in the area, as an interim measure till the drain is completed.
“Commissioner SMC was directed to deploy two dewatering pumps from Drainage Division. Since the disposal of the drained water is almost one km away, instructions were given to Joint Director Fire Service to provide pipes. Instructions were also given to Fire service to support the efforts of SMC in draining the water by deploying high capacity pumps for a period of two to three days,” the handout added.
