Burglary attempt in jewellery shop

Srinagar: In a unique case, burglars tried to loot a jewelry shop in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday night by using gas cutter machines. Police officials told PBI that burglars appeared in Jadeed Market on the link road and broke the shutter of Zam Zam jewelers using the gas cutter machines. The burglars also tried to break the safe containing jewelry, however failed. Pertinently, this was third abortive attempt by burglars to loot the shop which is located hundreds of meters from the police station.
“Last night the burglars made third attempt to loot my shop. They have caused damage to the shutters and interiors,” Muhammad Maqbool, the owner said. (PBI)
