Director ERA for systematic completion of City works

Srinagar, Feb 12: Director Urban, JK ERA on Saturday inspected various ongoing drainage sub-projects in the City.
 “The Director issued various instructions to consultants and ERA engineers for systematic completion of work on drainage sub-projects and also to minimise inconvenience to the area during execution of work,” a ERA spokesman said.
 “During his inspection of work at IG Road, the Director asked the field staff to expedite the pace of work and ensure that work is completed in shortest possible time.”
 At Wazabagh and adjacent LD Colony, officials said, he issued on the spot instructions for making the road pliable and to fill the undulations with sand immediately.
 Similar instructions were issued by him for Shah Anwar colony.
 “He also inspected work at Gulberg colony where he asked contractor to undertake the work with utmost care and in small portions so as to prevent any kind of damage to adjoining structures.”
