Health Minister inaugurates ASHA prog

Srinagar, Feb 14: Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture  Sham Lal Sharma on Monday inaugurated 14 days training of District Resource Persons “for ASHA MODULE 6 and 7 organised by state Health society (NRHM) Kashmir Srinagar”, an official handout said.
 On this occasion Director Health Services, Mission Director NRHM, Director Family Welfare and other senior officer were present.
 The Minister said the “basic aim and objective of conducting this training programme is to train you for providing basic medical facilities to the common people particularly living in the far flung and backward areas.”
 On this occasion the Health Director also addressed the under trainee candidates and asked them to get “expert themselves in the work, so that the common people will be get benefitted from your noble cause”. The batch of 22 trainers will also get incentives.
