Boy killed in mishap

Srinagar: A five-year-old boy was killed in a road accident at Nai Basti here on Tuesday. According to police, Bazil Javed son of Javid Ahmed Laway of Azad Basti Natipora here was hit and critically wounded by a vehicle (JKE-6531). The wounded was shifted to SKIMS, Soura wherein he succumbed, police said adding the driver, Lateef Ahmed Ganaie son of Ghulam Hassan of Methan, Chanapora was arrested and vehicle seized.Meanwhile, two persons were wounded in another mishap at Kazipora, Chadoora.
