AMU sanctions test centre in Kashmir

Aligarh, Feb 17: The Aligarh Muslim University academic council has decided to hold the AMU Entrance Tests of Medical and Engineering in Kashmir from the session 2011-2012.
The decision to this affect was taken at the academic council meeting on Thursday.
Members of JK Aligarh Association, headed by Dr Manzoor Ahmad met newly elected AMUSU president Abu Affan Faroquee and demanded a AMU Test Centre in Kashmir.
“I placed the demand before the members of the Academic Council and all of them agreed readily,” said Abu Affan Farooque, speaking to the members of Association.
Dr Manzoor thanked Farooque and administration for the initiative.
In this regard, the controller Examination AMU and team of experts would be visiting Kashmir to look into the necessary arrangements in this regard.
