Shivpora complains of erratic power

Srinagar, Feb 1: The Shivpora residents have complained of erratic power in the area.
 “We are facing inconvenience due to the erratic power supply. There is no perfect schedule from the concerned department even as they had published the same in local newspapers,” the Joint Fallahi Committee Shivpora, Chairman, Habib Ullah Pandow said.
 “The power development department has taken us for a ride even as we pay the fee regularly,” the committee said in a statement.
 Pandow and other Executive Members of the committee including Abdul Ahad Lone, Lateif Ahmad Naikoo and Abdul Wahid have appealed the Chief Engineer PDD to fulfil commitment of supplying power as per the schedule.
 “We want an immediate end to our woes,” the locals added.
Sajjadabad Masjid hails R&B
Srinagar, Feb 1: The Auqaf Imamia Sajadia Masjid, Sajjadabad  Chattabal has hailed the Chief Engineer, Roads and Building department and the concerned Executive Engineer of Division I for the land filling of Hussainiya Sabeelgah there.
 The residents while thanking the department officials said their long pending demand had been met.
