Srinagar, Feb 19: The inquiry officer investigating the killing of Handwara youth on Saturday recorded the statements of medico who examined the body of deceased.
Sources told Greater Kashmir that inquiry officer Itrat Hussain who is probing the killing of Manzoor Ahmed Magray recorded the statement of Dr Muzamil who examined the body of deceased.
“The doctor deposed before the inquiry officer that she didn’t performed autopsy of deceased after police told her that family has denied permission for it. I only examined the body externally, ” she told inquiry officer.
Meanwhile, inquiry officer on Saturday issued notice to the general public to record their statements regarding the incident.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, additional deputy commissioner Itrat Hussain who is probing the killing of Manzoor Ahmed Magray said all those who have relevant information regarding the incident should record their statements in his office from Februarys 19 to 26. The inquiry officer has already shot notices to the Army and police for recording their statements
