Book officials involved in food grain scam: PDP

Jammu, Feb 20: The People’s Democratic Party today accused the authorities of ‘shielding’ the officials involved in the alleged multi-crore food grains scam in Kishtwar.
 Concerned over the shortage of ration in Marwah and Decchan blocks, the party said the authorities were “shielding the culprits to appease political leadership.”
 In a statement, MLA Mendhar, Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan and party district president, Shakir Siddqui said, “The scam was unearthed some months ago, but no action has been taken against the guilty yet.”
