Royal Society of Medicine honors Dr Mir

Srinagar: Renowned orthopedic Surgeon, Prof. Dr Ghulam Rasul Mir has been honored by The Royal Society of Medicine, London.
 Dr Mir was recently inducted into the Royal Society of Medicine London, as overseas fellow and member, in recognition of the services he has rendered in the field of orthopedics.
 The honor is bestowed on doctors who make significant contributions in the field of medicine and surgery.
 Dr G R Mir returned to Kashmir after completing his FRCS in Surgery and MCh and FRCS in orthopedics and served as professor in Bone and Joint Barzulla. He has also served as Principal Government Medical College here.
