Nawa Kadal landlines dead

Srinagar, Feb 22:  The residents of Nawa Kadal on Wednesday said the landlines connection in the area were dead for the past over a week.
 A delegation of residents from Khanqah-e-Sokhta area of Nawa Kadal said for years they have relied on landline connections.
 “We prefer it over mobile phones,” the locals said adding “but for now we are facing inconvenience.”
 They appealed the GMT BSNL to look into the matter and get the lines restored.
Despite repeated attempts the concerned officials couldn’t be contacted for comment.
