Workshop on capacity building for bankers in Budgam

Budgam, Feb 26: A one-day workshop on capacity building for Bankers and sponsoring agencies was organized on here on Saturday.
 The workshop was organised by the district administration Budgam and the participants include Prof Shahnawaz Alam, M A Chaloo, Zonal Head, Lead Bank, Manzoor Ahmad Cluster Head JKB Budgam, senior executives of JKB, branch managers of JKB of district Budgam, senior development functionaries.
 In his address DDC Budgam Muhammad Rafi highlighted the need for enhancement of interaction between development functionaries and bankers.
 He stressed on the need for recurrent capacity for the development officers in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, sheep husbandry, industries so that the benefits of the new schemes launched by different agencies, including NABARD could reach out to the target population without any hassles.
 According to a statement, the bankers were asked to give due priority to the cases of Kisan Credit Card schemes.
