Travel Planner 2011 released

Srinagar, Feb 27: The fourth edition of ‘Discover J&K – Travel Planner” has been released by the Minister of Tourism and Culture Nawang Rigzin Jora at the TTF Mumbai. The 236-page Travel Planner has elaborate information on Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh on major and lesser known destinations, sightseeing, handicrafts, people, culture, religion and other tourism related activities with fascinating images. Authored by travel writer Basharat Rashid and published by Avalanche Media, the Travel Planner has included the works and articles of some young talented photographers and writers of the state and outside. “The Travel Planner is dedicated to the people of the state and will soon hit the stands in the J & K soon,” Rashid said.
