9 youth held

Srinagar, Feb 2: Police on Wednesday said that it arrested  nine youth on charges of stone pelting in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. A police spokesman identified the arrested youth as Tahir Ahmad Parray ,Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat Tariq Ahmad Bhat , Imtiyaz Ahmad, Javid Ahmad Bhat Sharief Din Baba S Muhammad Younis Sofi, Ashiq Hussain Parray  and Muhammad Irfan Wani  of Pattan  who were involved in Case FIR No. 73/2010 U/S 143, 149, 307, 332, 336 RPC of P/S Kreeri were detained. The said stone pelters were evading their arrest since long and were responsible for creating law and order problems in Kreeri area during 2010, he added.
