Calendar to market Gulmarg, Gondola released

Srinagar Feb 2: The Gondola Cable Car Corporation has released calendars and posters to publicize the scenic beauty of Gulmarg around Gondola.
The calendar and posters were released by Minister of Tourism, Nawang Rigzin Jora during a function in Gulmarg on Tuesday evening.
The calendar carries pictures taken by ace photographer Mukhtar Ahmad. The calendar was the second in row in which the images present the panoramic view of the world famous Gulmarg and Gondola.
On the occasion, the posters picturing the breathtaking locales around Gondola were an added attraction. The posters capture the breathtaking scenes of Gulmarg as one travels in Gondola.
Managing Director, JK Cable Car Corporation Talat Pervez said the calendar will help to market Gondola outside the state and abroad.
“With the beautiful pictures of the Gondola, the calendar will surely attract the potential tourists to take a ride in the cable car. We have sent the calendars to parliamentarians, state chief ministers and travel agents in Gujarat and Maharashtra. This will help them to formulate exclusive Gondola packages. We have also kept a picture of one of the Bollywood actors on the calendar to woo producers to visit the Valley,” Pervez said.
The function among others was attended by Minister of State for Tourism Nasir Aslam and Director Tourism Kashmir Farooq Ahmad Shah.
