PUC discusses audit paras of JKHPMC
Jammu, Feb 2: A meeting of Public Undertakings Committee (PUC) of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the Chairmanship of Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, here today and discussed some Comptroller and Audit General of India (CAG) audit Para’s pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Limited (JKHPMC), an official statement said. After threadbare discussion and thorough examination, the Committee decided to drop Audit Para 7.5 in the report of CAG for the year 2007-08 regarding diversion of C.P.Fund by the Corporation resulting in liability of Rs.5 crore. Legislators, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Mir Zoohar Ahmad, T.Namyal, Peer Mansoor Hussain, s. Bimla Luthra, Jagdesh Raj Sapolia, Advocate Abdul Haq, Khalid Najib Surhwardi and Mahmad Amin Bhat besides Principal Secretary, Agricultural Production Department Iqbal Khandy, Secretary, Agricultural Production Department Gazzenfer Hussain, Managing Director, JKHPMC, Director Planning APD A.K.Gandotra and other concerned officers of APD, JKHPMC and Assembly Secretariat attended the meeting.
