JKLF holds meeting at Kupwara
Srinagar: As a part of its week-long programme in connection with Yoom-e-Maqbool, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front on Thursday organized a meeting at Kupwara with its vice-chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat in chair.
The speakers paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Bhat, describing him a great leader and role model for Kashmiris who laid down his life for the cause of the liberation of their homeland. They threw detailed light on the different aspects of life.
The meeting was among others attended by Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Iqbal Gundroo and Daulat Ahmad Khan.
The participants offered special prayers for Maqbool Bhat, Shaheed Ashfaq Majid Wani, Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Hamid, Shaheed Mushtaq Ahmad Lone and other martyrs.
They also paid tributes to Shaheed Muhammad Yaqoob alias Chatyee and Shaheed Jehangir Malik on their martyrdom anniversary.
