18 kgs poppy straw seized

Srinagar, Feb 6: Police has seized 18 kilograms of poppy straw from a sumo (JK03-8602), at village Foher in Islamabad (Anantnag).
 According to the police, Arif Ahmad Mir of Khatritang Zirpora-Bijbehara and Shamim Ahmad Thakur of Waghama-Bijbehara were arrested in this connection.
3 HELD WITH CHARAS
 Police has arrested Fayaz Ahmad Lone and Farooq Ahmad Wani of Narupora at Narupora Islamabad (Anantnag) seizing 400 grams of charas from their possession.
 Meanwhile, police arrested Nazir Ahmad Sheikh of Hayatpora at Hayatpora Chadoora and recovered 750 grams of charas from his possession.
