Take Kashmiris on board to resolve K-issue: Nayeem
Srinagar, Feb 8: Terming Indo-Pak external affairs secretaries meeting in Bhutan as a “positive sign” and the announcement of starting “constructive dialogue as encouraging,” senior Hurriyat leader and National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan today stressed upon New Delhi and Islamabad to include Kashmiris in the process as third and essential party.
In a statement, Khan said, “Kashmir issue is not any border dispute between India and Pakistan, but it is a question of political right of more than a crore people and both countries don’t have any mandate to solve it bilaterally.”
Khan stressed upon both the countries to settle the dispute according to the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris.
He said, “Kashmiris have sacrificed in terms of life and property to achieve their right to self determination and both India and Pakistan have agreed the same more than once in front of the international community”.
