Father-son die of asphyxiation

Sopore, Dec 31: Pall of gloom descended at the residence of Ghulam Muhammad Dar who along with his son Sajjad Ahmad Dar died on Thursday night due to asphyxiation at Sangrampora in north Kashmir’s Sopore area.
The family told Greater Kashmir that both father-son died due to asphyxiation in the room where both were sleeping.
“There was leak in the gas heater which led to the death of father and son,” said a relative amidst sobs.
Neighbours and relatives were shocked at seeing the bodies as both were taken in a procession towards graveyard.
