3rd cross road Gagribal sans amenities
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Jan 9: The residents of 3rd Cross Road Old Gagribal have expressed resentment over the “lack of basic civic amenities” in the area.
A delegation from the locality said the area from Hanfia Masjid to
Receiving Station sans streetlighting and drainage system.
“In absence of streetlights, it becomes difficult for us to move
through the lane. The road near the Masjid is usually waterlogged due to lack of drainage. Besides the lane which was macadamized years ago has developed potholes.” they said.
The residents due the locality’s proximity with forests, the area is
frequented by wild animals.
“The wild animals enter the locality by climbing atop a kerosene depot and heaps of garbage dumps near the Masjid,” they added.
“We appeal the concerned ministers to look into the matter and
redress the grievances at the earliest,” they added.
