Guv, CM greet people on Gurupurab

Jammu: The Governor, N N Vohra and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah have greeted the people on the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
 In his message, Vohra said Guru Gobind Singh Ji was an apostle of peace, compassion and love, and his teachings would continue to inspire future generations to strive for establishing a healthier society and a just social order.
 Chief Minister wished the day to be harbinger for tranquility and all round development in the country.
 People’s Democratic Party patron, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed,  president, Mehbooba Mufti,  general secretary, Muhammad Dilawar Mir and National Panthers Party chairman, Prof. Bhim Singh have also greeted the people.
 They said Guru Gobind Singhji had been apostle of universal love, piety and spiritual faith and his teachings guide the people on the path of social harmony and unity.
 Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Asgar Samoon has felicitated the people particularly Sikh Community on the 345th birthday of Guru Gobind Singhji.
