KU girl hosteliers appeal VC

Srinagar: The girls putting up at Rabiya Basri and Habba Khatoon hostel in Kashmir University have complained of inadequate heating arrangements.
A delegation told Greater Kashmir that the authorities hadn’t made any suitable heating arrangement for the girls due to which they were facing tremendous hardships in the subzero temperature. “We apprised the officials about the problem, but they turned deaf ears to our repeated pleas,” they said.
The students also complained of erratic power and water supply to the hostel.
