LoC trade to resume today
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Jan 10: The Valley traders today decided to resume the LoC trade through Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route from January 11. However, the traders issued one-month deadline for the government to address the problems they face in conducting the LoC trade “else we will boycott the trade.” The trade had remained suspended during past many months as the traders demanded adequate infrastructure at the place. The traders had said that they faced lots of problems due to deficient infrastructure and little number of tradable items. However, the traders today said they will restart the trade from tomorrow, while cautioning the government that they can again go for boycott should the latter fail to raise adequate infrastructure at the place within a month.
