Gulam Bustanvi is new VC of Darul Uloom Deoband

Muzaffarnagar, Jan 11: Leading Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband has appointed Maulana Gulam Bustanvi as its new Vice Chancellor.
Bustanvi, 65, was appointed as the new Vice Chancellor in a meeting of the managing body of the seminary held at Deoband yesterday. The meeting was attended by 14 members of the total 17 members, sources in seminary said today.
The new V-C was appointed after the former V-C Maulana Marghoobur Rahman died last month after prolonged illness.
