KU ELECTRICIAN SUCCUMBS
Srinagar: Khurshid Ahmed Khan, an electrician at Kashmir University who had slipped from a electric pole some days back, succumbed to his injuries Friday, the KU officials said.
A pall of gloom descended on the varsity campus when the news about the death of Khan reached there.
Khan, the KU officials said, had recently fallen from electric pole during office hours in the campus.
He was admitted to SKIMS, Soura, here where he succumbed
A large number of University employees including some officials attended the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of the deceased.
Meanwhile, Kashmir University Ministerial Staff Association organized a condolence meeting at the where rich tributes were paid to the deceased and sympathized with the bereaved family.
