PDD launches drive against ‘power misuse ‘

Ganderbal, Jan 14: To check the misuse of electricity, the Power Development Department today launched a massive drive and seized dozens of electric heaters and blowers from many houses in Kangan.
 "We launched the drive after receiving complaints that every household was using two to three heaters and blowers,” PDD officials told Greater Kashmir adding the drive would continue. 
 The officials appealed to the people to stop illegal hooking forthwith. “If anybody found guilty, they will be dealt strictly,” the official said.
