Srinagar, Jan 15: The Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir has taken a “strong notice of drying the cow dung on the banks of the river Jhelum”, official handout Saturday said.
“The Minister immediately convened a high level meeting of Director Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Shah, Chief Engineer, Irrigation, Najeeb Ahmad and Regional Director of Pollution Control Board, Farooq Jeelani and discussed the matter in detail.”
“The Minister issued directions to the Chief Engineer Irrigation to identify all those sites of river Jhelum which are being used for drying the cow dung by the Milkmaid community.”
