Rs 9 cr earmarked under SKEWP as VSA: Malik

Jammu, Jan 15: Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment, Abdul Gani Malik said Sunday that Rs nine crore would be distributed among the unemployed educated youth registered so far as Voluntary Service Allowance (VSA) under the Sher-i-Kashmir Employment Welfare Programme (SKEWP).
Under this programme, he said Rs 3 lakh would be provided to those youth who have qualified 10+2, Rs 5 lakh for graduates, Rs 7 lakh for post graduate and Rs 15 lakh for a Group intend to set up their joint venture would be provided.
This was revealed by Malik while addressing public meetings at Chassana and Sungri in Mahore tehsil today.
