Youth asked to avail benefits under SKEWPY

Jammu, Jan 16: Saying that the problem of unemployment has assumed alarming proportions world over, Minister for Industries and Commerce S S Slathia said the steps taken by the state to tackle the problem have started yielding positive results.
The Minister was addressing a huge gathering of youth at a daylong convention organized by Youth National Conference, District Jammu Urban.
Advisors to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul and Davinder Singh Rana also addressed the gathering.
Slathia said that un-employment among the youth has increased many fold over the years and considering this the state Government has taken every step to solve this grave problem to some extent. He advised the unemployed youth to avail the benefit of various Self-Employment Schemes under which the Government provides attractive incentives in the form of subsidy, seed money, tax exemptions etc.
