PAC inspects SMC projects

Srinagar, Jan 17: Public Accounts Committee headed by MLA AR Veeri alongwith his colleagues Nazir Gurezi and Mohammad Shafi Wani on Monday inspected shopping complex (Nund Singh), Batmaloo coming up at the cost of Rs. 4.31 crore.
An official handout said Commissioner SMC, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, Joint Commissioner (Admn), Municipality, Fayaz Ahmad Balla, Executive Engineer, SMC, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Shah, Special Secretary, Housing, Showkat Ahmad and other senior officers of the corporation accompanied the MLAs during his visit.
“On this occasion, Veeri stressed upon the SMC for completing the complex on speedy basis and also asked for macadamisation of the approach roads connecting the complex and taking immediate steps for drainage system,” an official handout said.
