BSNL EVDO subscribers appeal CGM

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Jan 18: The BSNL subscribers of Shivpora and Dalgate areas having EVDO connections Tuesday complained that the service provided under 650 (unlimited) plan over the past week has been erratic and slow despite the state-owned telecom player’s pledge for uninterrupted access to internet connectivity. The subscribers appealed to chief general manager BSNL to intervene in the matter.
A BSNL subscriber from Shivpora B area said that he ignored other service providers and preferred BSNL EVDO with Haier instrument under Rs 650 plan but it had been erratic during initial phase last year. He said although the service improved in December last year, but for the last two weeks the EVDO internet connectivity has again slowed as compared to other private players.
“I have met so many loyal subscribers of BSNL availing its services and in particular EVDO who complained that it has been erratic for the past two weeks and there is no mechanism in place whereby I and others in Shivpora could lodge a complaint,” said M Arshad, a resident of Shivpora.
