Ration depots inspected
Jammu, Jan 18: In order to ensure smooth supply of ration to the public an intensive drive has been launched by the CA&PD Department for checking of ration depots of Jammu city.
The Director CA&PD, Jammu Parvez Ahmed Malik accompanied by the team of officers conducted on spot inspection of ration depots in various parts of Jammu city. During the inspection, public was made aware about the ration quota due to them and people at large agreed to get quota of ration due to them, though some of them complained about delay in receipt of ration. Dealers were on spot instructed to issue the due quota of ration to valid ration card holders failing which strict action shall be initiated against them. Further, the Director, CA&PD, Jammu directed the field staff of CA&PD department to be more vigilant and prompt addressing the complaints of the consumers.
