NABARD ready to help JK SCARDB revival

Work hard to achieve targets, managers told

Srinagar, Jan 1: Chief General Manager, NABARD, Jammu, M L Sukhdeve while highlighting the role of the J&K State Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Bank (SCARDB) in agriculture sector, urged the managers of the Bank to work hard to achieve targets on deposits, lending and recoveries.
 The CGM was reviewing the working of the Bank particularly in respect of lending, recoveries and deposit mobilization. He urged the managers and employees of the SCARDB to work hard to achieve targets and ensure growth of the bank.
 He said the NABARD is ready to extend all its support and cooperation to the SCARDB to make its revival possible.
 Branch managers on the occasion vowed that they will leave no stone unturned to achieve the targets.
 The managers shared their problems with the CGM who in turn suggested certain measures to overcome these problems.
 The working of the Bank was reviewed at a staff meeting of the SCARDB on Dec 31, 2010 here.
 The meeting was attended by all managers of the branches in the Valley and Leh.
