Cabinet decision a ‘ploy to divide’ employees’: JCC
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Jan 19: Reacting to the Cabinet decision No. 250/22/2010 dated 27-10-2010, the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) senior leader and Employees Joint Action Committee (Q) president, Abdul Qayoom Wani termed it ‘violation of agreement and breach of trust.’
“The cabinet decision is another attempt by the government to sabotage the employees’ efforts and drive a wedge in their unity,” said Wani while addressing a JCC meeting held at Jammu, terming it (cabinet decision) unacceptable to the employees and workers of State.
“The members said that they are being compelled by the government to change the mode of struggle,” said JCC in a statement, appealing to the chief minister for intervention to avoid confrontations and fulfill the promises made with JCC leadership by the cabinet sub-committee members.
Meanwhile, another JCC leader, Muhammad Khursheed Alam, according to a statement, has also expressed resentment over the decision.
