Census Phase II training reviewed

Srinagar, Jan 20: The Principal Census Officer, Srinagar Sheikh Mushtaq on Thursday visited the centres for Census Phase II training in the City.
“He stressed upon the supervisors and enumerators to conduct the census work with zeal and dedication, and ensure proper collection of census data in the Srinagar city,” an official handout said.
“The enumerators were asked to take special care of enumeration of physically-handicapped, slums, illiteracy, population and ensure that all the citizens of the Srinagar are enlisted.”
Meanwhile Joint Director Census, CS Sapru and Deputy Director ORGI, Surinder Bhat, visited training centers in the City wherein they discussed the census data collection system and its “impact on overall development and future planning of the nation”.
