Fire at Court Road

Srinagar, Jan 20: A building was gutted while some adjoining structures suffered minor damages in a devastating fire at Court Road in City centre Thursday, officials and reports said.
Officials said the fire erupted from one of the buildings and engulfed some nearby structures as well.
“Property worth crores was destroyed in the incident,” they said.
The locals said the building owned by Firdous Ahmed Rarher and Muzaffar Ahmed Rather was worst hit.
However, the spread of fire in the congested area was prevented by the timely action of firefighters, the officials said.
