2 labourers buried, engineer held

Jammu: Two labourers were buried and as many injured during digging of a 9-feet deep sewerage channel in Jammu, police said here.
The mishap occurred when Muzaffar Malik and Muhammad Ramzan of Banihal, both labourers, were digging the sewerage channel for Economic Reconstruction Agency in Sarwal area yesterday when a huge portion of debris came down on them, police said, adding two more labourers were injured in the incident.
A case has been registered in this regard and Engineer Gurvinder Pal Singh has been arrested, police added.
