Airtel customers win prizes

Srinagar, Jan 21: Bharti airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, gave away gift prizes to the winners of ‘Khushiyon Ki Diwali’ festival offer, it had launched earlier. 
 The winners were chosen through a draw of lots. airtel customer Javid Ahmed Wani won the LCD while five others namely Ghulam Mohammad Teli, Fazi Begum, Muhammad Akbar, Kazim Rather and Afroza Begum, received refrigerators.
 Under the ‘Khushiyon Ki Diwali’ offer, Airtel retailers namely Khushboo Telecom Srinagar, Altaf Telecom Awantipora, Friends Radios Tral, Murtaza Electronics Srinagar, Kashmir Telecom Srinagar and Maqbool Telecom Srinagar also won the prizes.
 The offer ‘Khushiyon Ki Diwali’ was kick-started by airtel on October 7, 2010 to celebrate the festive season.
 “With this, customers across 23 circles upon buying new airtel pre-paid and post-paid connections between October 7 to November 15 were eligible to get not only the assured gifts (talktime and other value added services), but also had a chance to get other exciting gifts including Maruti Ritz cars, Hero Honda bikes, LCD TVs, refrigerators and much more,” a spokesman of the company in a statement said.
