Srinagar, Jan 23: With police failing to trap the accused in the past weeks of thefts of LPG cylinders in the City, the burglars seem to have expanded their domain as in the latest they targeted the suburb just close to Police Headquarters at Pirbagh.
The residents of Omarabad-Sector B said scores of cylinders have been stolen from there including those from the houses of Fida Hussain Paul and Mehraj Ud Din.
Hussain said the cylinders were stolen from outside his kitchen when the family was out for work.
Just a few weeks back similar complaints had poured in from Hyderpora area. The locals have appealed the concerned SSPs to look into the matter.
