Shamim chairs interactive sessions

Srinagar, Jan 24: “Lack of self confidence among women is proving to be one of the biggest impediments towards the path of progress and prosperity for women,” Chairperson, State Women’s Commission, Shamim Firdous Monday said at Kashmir University.
She said it while interacting with students and female teachers of the KU and Islamic University Awantipora during a special session there.
Shamim said oppression against women in various forms was “spreading like cancer.”
