Srinagar: Prof Riyaz Punjabi expressed happiness over him being conferred with this year’s Padma Shri award in literature and education.
“One feels happy on such occasions. My contribution in filed of literature and education has been recognized and it is a moment of pride for all of us,” Prof Punjabi told Greater Kashmir.
“It is an honor for entire academic fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
