‘No to officials on duty, yes to non-officials’
ACCOMODATION IN CIRCUIT HOUSE
Jammu, Jan 26: As part of its contingency plan to deal with the BJP’s Ekta Yatra, the government is understood to have reserved a sizeable number of rooms in Circuit House here to house the party cadres from outside state should they succeed in reaching Jammu.
Official sourced said as a result of the arrangement at least seven HoDs among scores of govt officials from the valley and other distant places of Jammu and Ladakh were denied accommodation in the Circuit House.
Some of the angry officials talking to Greater Kashmir alleged that the Circuit House remains most of the times occupied by non-officials, mostly relatives of politicians while officials summoned to Jammu in connection with the discharge of their duties were ‘left to fend for themselves.’ “And now the circuit House is supposed to serve as a so called jail for the very important BJP functionaries,” quipped an angry official.
