Governor hosts At Home
Jammu, Jan 26: The Governor, N N Vohra, hosted At Home on the occasion of the 62nd Republic Day here on Wednesday.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Speaker Legislative Assembly, Muhammad Akbar Lone, Deputy Chairman Legislative Council, Arvinder Singh, several Ministers, Advisors to the Chief Minister, Legislators, leaders of various social and political organizations were also present.
The function was also attended by Lt. Gen K T Parnaik, Northern Army Commander, Lt. Gen J P Nehra, GOC XVI Corps, Maj. Gen. T P S Waraich, GOC 26 Div, Maj. Gen. Ragesh Sharma, GOC 10 Div, and senior Civil, Police and Air Force officers, Vice-Chancellors, media persons, prominent citizens from all walks of life and Commandants of the contingents of various educational institutions who had participated in the Republic Day Parade.
Vohra and the First Lady, Usha Vohra, interacted with the invitees.
