Masjid Intizaamiya appeals for Bund repairs

Srinagar, Jan 26: The Intizaamiya Committee Masjid Syed Muhammad Mosvi (RA), Nawa Kadal has appealed the authorities to repair the Jhelum Bund in the rare of the Masjid.
The committee people said the government was repairing the Bund alongside a nearby Masjid by raising a concrete rampart.
“The same development should take place in our locality as well,” the delegation said.
They appealed the MLA, Eidgah, Mubarak Gul to look into the matter by “personally visiting the spot so that no discrimination takes place.”
The locals said the Bund repairs would “safeguard the Masjid from flood threats.”
