Saleem Pandit gets state award
Jammu, Jan 26: Jammu and Kashmir Government has conferred state award to Muhammad Saleem Pandit for excellence in the field of journalism. Being in the field of journalism for over two decades Pandit, presently working as special correspondent for the Times of India, joined the national news paper in the year 2000.Pandit has extensively traveled within and outside the state to do spot as well as exclusive stories. He was part of the delegation of Indian journalists to visit Pakistan under the aegis of SAFMA in 2004.
He did several stories on political and social life in Pakistan. He has also participated in the leadership programme in US in the year 2005 and has traveled to several states in the US.
