SKIMS to host seminar on stomach cancer

Srinagar, Jan 27: The SK Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, is organizing an International Surgical Update on Stomach Cancer, on February 1, a SKIMS handout said.
“There are an estimated 2.5 million cases of cancer in India at any given time. Stomach cancer is among the most common malignancies worldwide, with some 870,000 cases every year, and 650,000 deaths,” it added.
