Barbarshah to get community hall

Srinagar, Jan 28: Chairperson for State Commission for Women and MLA Habba Kadal, Shamim Firdous on Friday said community hall would be constructed at Barbarshah.
“Firdous announced a multipurpose Town Hall cum citizens facilitation Centre at initial cost of Rs 50 lakh for Barbarshah, Naqashpore with the availability of following basic facilities like building permission, Telephone services, on line information about any necessary matter issuing of birth certificates and the meeting hall for MLAS of District Srinagar,” an official handout said.
“Various deputations which met her during her visit thanked for announcing these facilities in the areas,” it added.
Earlier, she inspected ongoing works taken up by UEED, City Drainage and SMC. She also took stock of the availability and supply position of food grains and other essentials. The areas she visited include Munawabad, Ikhwan Chowk, Barbarshah and Naqashpore.
She asked the executing agencies to complete all the works taken in hand within the stipulated time.
